About Daily Word
A free Wordle-style daily word puzzle. Everyone gets the same five-letter word each day. Type a guess, and coloured tiles show which letters are in the right spot (green), in the word but misplaced (yellow), or not in the word (grey). Solve it in six tries, keep your streak alive and share your result grid without spoilers.
How to play Daily Word
- Type any five-letter word and press Enter.
- Green: right letter, right spot. Yellow: in the word, wrong spot. Grey: not in the word.
- Use the clues to narrow it down. You have six guesses.
- Come back tomorrow for a new word and keep your streak going.
Tips and strategy
- Start with a word that has common letters, like 'arise' or 'stone'.
- Don't reuse grey letters.
- Try yellow letters in new positions to pin them down.
