About Ball Sort

The classic ball sort puzzle. Move balls between tubes, one at a time, until each tube holds four balls of a single colour. A ball can only go onto a ball of the same colour or into an empty tube. Every level is checked by a solver before you play it, so there is always a way through, and levels add more colours as you go. Undo freely, add one spare tube when you're stuck, or ask for a hint.

How to play Ball Sort

  1. Tap a tube to lift its top ball, then tap another tube to drop it in.
  2. A ball can only land on the same colour or in an empty tube. Tubes hold four.
  3. Finish when every tube is either empty or holds four balls of one colour.
  4. Use Undo, Restart, one extra tube per level and hints whenever you like.

Tips and strategy

  • Empty tubes are precious: avoid filling one with a mixed stack.
  • Work on the colour that is closest to finished first.
  • Turn on Symbols if some colours look alike to you.
