About Battery Empire

An energy tycoon idle game. Charge batteries by hand, then build solar panels, wind turbines, battery banks, hydro dams and a smart grid, all the way to fusion plants and orbital arrays. Lightning strikes bring bonuses.

How to play Battery Empire

  1. Tap the big button to earn your first watts.
  2. Spend watts on producers, from a hand crank up to an orbital array. They earn for you every second.
  3. Buy upgrades to double each producer, and tap upgrades to make every tap count.
  4. Catch the bonus when it floats past for a lucky windfall or a 30-second frenzy.
  5. When you've earned enough, rewire the grid to start again with a permanent bonus.

Tips and strategy

  • Early on, buy the producer with the best rate for its price, not just the cheapest.
  • Upgrades are usually better value than another producer once they unlock.
  • Your empire keeps earning at half speed for up to eight hours while you're away.
