About Bowling

A free ten-pin bowling game with a follow camera and believable pin physics. Line up on the lane, swipe to bowl and curve your swipe to put hook on the ball, which breaks once it reaches the dry back end. Scoring follows the real rules, with strikes, spares and the bonus balls in the tenth frame. Bowl a solo game for the leaderboard or pass the phone around for a four-player bowling night.

How to play Bowling

1. Drag the ball sideways to choose where you stand.
2. Swipe up to bowl. A faster swipe throws a faster ball.
3. Curve the swipe to add hook. The ball goes straight on the oil and breaks late.
4. Knock all ten down with the first ball for a strike, or with two balls for a spare.
5. Ten frames make a game, and a perfect game is 300.

Tips and strategy

• Aim for the pocket, between the 1 and 3 pins (1 and 2 if you're left-handed), rather than hitting the head pin full on.
• A ball that enters the pocket at an angle carries far more pins than a straight one.
• On spares, aim at the pin nearest to you and let it take out the ones behind it.
