About Cave Explorer

A free platform game with precise controls. Guide your explorer through eight hand-built caves: leap spike pits, bounce off springs, squash crawlers, race across bridges that crumble underfoot and dodge rivers of lava. Collect every gem, beat the par time and unlock the next cave. Coyote time, jump buffering and variable jump height make every jump feel fair.

How to play Cave Explorer

  1. Run and jump to the yellow exit flag at the end of each cave.
  2. Hold jump for a higher leap, tap it for a short hop.
  3. Jump on crawlers to squash them; touching them from the side sends you back.
  4. Springs launch you high, cracked blocks fall soon after you land, and lava and spikes reset you to the last checkpoint.
  5. Collect gems and beat the par time for a higher score.

Tips and strategy

  • You can still jump a split second after running off a ledge.
  • Press jump just before landing and it will fire the moment you touch down.
  • On crumbling bridges, don't stop: keep running.
