About Colour by Number

A calm colour-by-number game in your browser. Pick a pixel-art design, such as a toadstool, a ginger cat, a rocket or an ice cream, or a painted scene with twelve colours. Choose a colour, then tap or drag across its numbered cells to fill them in. Zoom in on bigger pictures, use the magnifier to find the cells you missed, and save the finished picture as an image. Progress saves automatically.

How to play Colour by Number

1. Pick a picture from the gallery. It starts as a grid of numbers.
2. Choose a colour from the palette at the bottom. Its cells are highlighted.
3. Tap or drag over the highlighted cells to fill them. Only matching cells take the colour.
4. When a colour is finished the palette jumps to the next one.
5. Fill every cell to reveal the picture, then save it as an image.

Tips and strategy

• Drag in long strokes: cells of other colours are safely skipped.
• On large scenes, zoom in until the numbers appear.
• Lost a few cells? The magnifier jumps to the next one of your colour.
