About Fake Artist
A drawing and bluffing game with pen and paper. Everyone sees the secret word except the fake artist. Pass one sheet of paper around and each add a single line to a drawing of the word. Then vote: who drew like they had no idea? Caught fake artists can still win by guessing the word.
How to play Fake Artist
- Add every player's name. Everyone sits in a circle and passes one phone around.
- Grab one sheet of paper and a pen.
- Each player privately sees the word (or 'You're the fake artist') and passes on.
- Take turns adding one line each, without lifting the pen. Go round twice.
- Vote for the fake artist, who can steal the win by guessing the word.
Tips and strategy
- Real artists: add a detail only someone who knows the word would draw.
- Fake artist: add general lines that could fit anything.
