The secret-word party game everyone's talking about. Pass one phone around: every player sees the same secret word except the impostor, who only sees a category (or nothing at all on hard mode). Take turns saying one clue each, discuss, then vote. If you catch the impostor, they get one last chance to guess the word and steal the win.

How to play The Impostor

1. Add every player's name. Everyone sits in a circle and passes one phone around.
2. Pick a word pack and how many impostors (more for bigger groups).
3. Each player privately views their card, then hides it and passes the phone on.
4. Go round the circle twice, each saying one word linked to the secret word.
5. Discuss and vote. Catch the impostor and they get one guess at the word to steal the win.

Tips and strategy

• Civilians: be specific enough to prove you know the word, but not so obvious the impostor learns it.
• Impostors: listen first, then echo the vibe of earlier clues.
