Mafia
The app is the narrator. Pass one phone around, survive the night, find the Mafia.
About Mafia
The classic social deduction game, with no moderator needed. The app deals secret roles (Mafia, Doctor, Detective and Townspeople) and runs every night: each player takes the phone in turn, the Mafia choose a target, the Doctor protects someone, the Detective investigates, and everyone else taps a name so nobody can tell roles by timing. By day, discuss and vote someone out. The town wins by eliminating the Mafia; the Mafia win when they equal the town.
How to play Mafia
- Add every player's name. Everyone sits in a circle and passes one phone around.
- Choose how many Mafia, Doctors and Detectives (or use the recommended mix).
- Each player privately sees their role. Mafia also see their teammates.
- Night: pass the phone round. Each player secretly does their action, or taps a name if they have none.
- Morning: the app announces who was eliminated. Discuss, then vote someone out. Repeat until a side wins.
Tips and strategy
- Townspeople: watch who pushes votes and who stays quiet.
- Detectives: reveal what you know at the right moment, not too early.
- Everyone should take a similar time on their night turn.
