Light Up
Place bulbs to light every cell, without bulbs shining on each other.
About Light Up
Light Up, also called Akari, is a Japanese logic puzzle. Place bulbs on white cells: each shines along its row and column until it hits a wall. Light every white cell, never let two bulbs shine on each other, and give each numbered wall exactly that many bulbs next to it. Free 7Γ7 and 10Γ10 puzzles with one solution each.
How to play Light Up
- Tap a white cell to place a bulb; tap again to mark it 'no bulb'; again to clear.
- Bulbs light their row and column until a wall.
- Two bulbs may never shine on each other.
- A numbered wall needs exactly that many bulbs on its four sides.
Tips and strategy
- A 4 wall gets bulbs on all four sides; a 0 wall gets none.
- Mark 'no bulb' dots around satisfied numbers.
- A dark cell that only one spot can light tells you where a bulb goes.
