About Mancala
Mancala (Kalah rules) for two players. Pick up all the seeds from one of your pits and sow them one by one anticlockwise. End in your store to go again, or land in an empty pit on your side to capture the seeds opposite. The player with the most seeds at the end wins.
How to play Mancala
- Choose one of your six pits to pick up all its seeds.
- Sow them one at a time anticlockwise, including your store but skipping your rival's.
- If the last seed lands in your store, take another turn.
- If it lands in an empty pit on your side, capture it and the seeds opposite.
- When one side is empty, the game ends and the most seeds wins.
Tips and strategy
- Look for pits whose seed count reaches your store exactly.
- Keep an eye on empty pits on your side for captures.
- Hoarding seeds in the rightmost pit gives flexibility.
