Drum Pattern Copy
Hear a drum beat, then rebuild it on the step sequencer.
About Drum Pattern Copy
Listen to a short drum groove, then recreate it on an eight-step grid of kick, snare, hi-hat and clap. Check your beat and the game shows which hits were right, which were extra and which you missed. Early levels are just a kick drum. Then the snare, hi-hats and claps join, with trickier syncopation as you climb. Solve a level after one or two listens for a bonus. Three wrong checks and the session ends.
How to play Drum Pattern Copy
- Listen: the beat plays twice with a playhead moving across the steps.
- Tap cells on the grid to place each drum hit. Tap a drum's name to hear it on its own.
- Press Play mine to hear your version, then Check.
- Correct hits glow green, extra hits get a pink cross and missing ones show a dashed outline. Fix them and check again.
Tips and strategy
- Find the kick first. It anchors everything.
- Snares usually land on counts 2 and 4.
- Count the hi-hats: every beat, every half-beat, or only the offbeats?
