About Mini Escape Room
A free online escape room game with three hand-drawn rooms: a professor's study with a stopped clock, a dark laboratory with faulty wiring and a symbol safe, and a ship captain's cabin full of riddles. Tap around to examine things, collect items in your bag, use them in the right places and crack combination locks, keypads and codes. Every clue you need is in the room. Hints are there if you get stuck, and your best escape time is saved.
How to play Mini Escape Room
- Pick a room. The clock starts as soon as you walk in.
- Tap anything that looks interesting to take a closer look.
- Items you find go in your bag. Tap one to select it, then tap where you want to use it.
- Crack the locks with clues hidden around the room, then open the door to escape.
- Stuck? Tap Hint for a nudge towards the next step.
Tips and strategy
- Every number in a room means something. Write down anything that looks like a code.
- Look at objects again after you've found a new item. Some clues only show up with the right tool.
- Colours, orders and directions are rarely decoration.

Most people escape each room in five to ten minutes. All three take about half an hour.
Do I need to guess anything?
No. Every code can be worked out from clues inside the room, and each room was played through end to end to check.
